The motorcycle road-racing season had ended. I needed to create a spot for the beIN's creative department to remind its fans of the start of the new season. A strong artistic concept that united all aspects of a creative production as a whole, was commissioned. Art direction, scripting, production, editing, music usage and audio design were not left behind in this meticulously crafted piece of work.
Without knowing this opportunity would come, I had to travel around the US with some team members. This journey that took us from Austin to San Francisco; from Salt Lake City to Birmingham; from Atlanta to Sheboygan. We even had the chance to shoot along the famous Blue Angels' jet fighters in Pensacola. You get the idea, we were able to record a shit-ton of footage.
When we began working on this piece, it took us over 2 months to finish. I wanted to develop something completely different. So I came up with the idea to allow total freedom within the team and myself in coming up with anything that came to mind. No rules, no boundaries. After I finally wrote the script, it took me around two weeks to have the first cut off my editing bay; to then share it with the team and have the graphic process begin. It took 1 month with 3 different motion designers, to create all textures and graphics from scratch. The remainder of the time was spent in the protools studio where it was fully completed and brought to life.
